Service Description

PREREQUISITE PADI Basic Freediver certification or equivalent pool qualification. STEP 2 — OPEN-WATER TRAINING Complete your PADI Freediver certification with small-group, instructor-led training in real ocean conditions. Build confidence at depth while refining equalisation, weighting, line-diving technique and calm, reliable buddy safety. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN • Equipment setup, safe water entry and exit • Correct weighting and buoyancy checks • Free immersion and constant-weight techniques • Ear and mask equalisation, including troubleshooting • Streamlined movement and efficient finning • Surface and active buddy safety • Recognising and rescuing a diver in distress OUTCOME This session completes the open-water component of the PADI Freediver pathway. Certification is awarded when all required skills and performance standards are met. LOCATION Departing from Queenscliff Marina aboard the SCUBABO vessel.

Freedive Geelong – Coaching / Charter Policy Each participant must complete the Health, Consent & Risk Acknowledgement before participation and follow all instructor, buddy, site, equipment and safety requirements. PADI participants must also complete current PADI documentation separately. Bookings close 24 hours before the session. Customer cancellation or rescheduling is available until 72 hours before the session. Weather, site conditions, supervision or other safety considerations may require a change of site, postponement or cancellation by Freedive Geelong. Applicable Victorian and Commonwealth law applies. Relevant recognised industry guidance, including the current Australian Adventure Activity Standards / Good Practice Guides where applicable, is used as operational guidance and is not legislation.
