Snorkels are an essential piece of the divers kit, allowing them to breathe from the surface while keeping their face down, looking at the marine life. 

Snorkels should have a soft mouth piece and feel comfortable when in use. Other features to look for are a wide open bore that makes it easy to breathe through and a soft or semi rigid tube.
