Service Description
Freediver pool training for Freedive Geelong students. If you have joined a Freediver training session or course with us in the past, than your welcome to join our pool training sessions. These sessions work on pool related training disciplines such as static apnea and dynamic apnoea, incorporating associated drills in a coached setting. The sessions can also be used to work on depth training, using the 3 metre deep end of the pool to practice equalisation and float work.

Cancellation Policy
Freedive Geelong – Pool Training Policy Pool training sessions provide a structured, safety-focused environment to develop breath-hold capacity, technique, relaxation and buddy skills. These sessions follow formal freediving safety standards and are not recreational breath-hold sessions. Eligibility Participants must: Be 10 years or older Be in good health Have completed a freediving course (PADI Basic Freediver or equivalent) or receive instructor approval Complete a health declaration and liability waiver Participants aged 10–17 require parent/guardian consent. A parent/guardian may be required to remain on site. Medical clearance may be required where relevant conditions are disclosed. Safety Standards All training operates under recognised freediving safety protocols. Participants must: Always dive with a trained buddy Follow strict one-up / one-down supervision Maintain close supervision during all breath-holds Follow surface protocols Immediately stop if unwell or uncomfortable Follow instructor direction at all times The following are prohibited: Solo breath-holding Hyperventilation Competitive or ego-driven diving Unapproved additional attempts Failure to comply may result in removal from the session without refund. Personal Responsibility Freediving carries inherent risks, including loss of consciousness. Participants acknowledge that buddy supervision reduces but does not eliminate risk and agree to communicate honestly regarding fatigue, illness or discomfort. Do not participate if sick, injured, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Safety overrides performance. Instructor Authority Instructors may modify, restrict or stop training at any time in the interest of safety. All safety decisions are final.
