Service Description

Spend a half-day in the ocean with a small group and an instructor supporting your diving. Some days you want feedback. Some days you want time to settle back into the water. Work on equalisation, technique, depth, buddy safety or confidence with the Freedive Geelong crew. WHO IT SUITS Qualified PADI, AIDA and Molchanovs freedivers, divers returning after a break, and divers working towards further training are welcome, subject to the skills and experience needed for the session. You do not need to be working towards another certification to join. Tell us your qualification, recent diving and goals so we can confirm the right fit. COACHING AND SAFETY Maximum four divers per instructor. Work on equipment setup, weighting, relaxed descents, efficient movement and reliable buddy procedures. Your instructor provides in-water coaching, supervision and individual feedback. Active buddy procedures apply throughout. There is no pressure to chase depth or keep up with other divers. COMPLETING PADI FREEDIVER REQUIREMENTS If you hold PADI Basic Freediver or an appropriate equivalent pool qualification, tell us you are completing the open-water requirements when you book. We will review your training record and confirm the required sessions, documentation and assessments. Certification is only awarded when all relevant agency requirements are met; a coaching booking does not automatically award or transfer a qualification. SESSION DETAILS Departing from Queenscliff Marina aboard the SCUBABO vessel for currently scheduled boat sessions, with local sites selected for conditions. Check your chosen date for the meeting time and trip details. Bookings are reviewed before confirmation. Contact us before booking if unsure about your qualification or readiness.
