Using a well-fitting and high-quality mask is crucial for optimal diving. When selecting a diving mask, consider factors such as comfort, fit, and functionality. Look for a mask with a low volume design, as it minimizes the amount of air required to equalise.

Additionally, ensure that the mask's skirt creates a reliable seal against your face to prevent water leakage.

You should be able to push the mask on your face and have it stick without the head strap holding it on. Make sure it fits comfortably, seals well, and does not cause pressure.
